This experimental vessel was originally designed and built with the TURBO SAIL ASPIRATED CYLINDER, and the basis of the Award Winning Movie "Riders of The Wind", Produced by the Cousteau Society and the Turner Home Entertainment. (this VHS / CD is available on line, search Google)

This Vessel lead the way for the Design and Construction of the ALCYONE which replaced the CALYPSO.

In 1994 Moulin -A- Vent (French for Windmill) was Refitted with an aluminum "A" Frame Mast, this Mast is retractable with the use of the ships bow winch. The vessel is also powered by twin diesels. The interior layout is Huge with cabins and compartments, and She has the original Divers Hatch located in the center of the Hull designed by Capt. Cousteau along with many other features designed by him and his team.
